Educational Qualifications:
Candidates, who are going to apply against any one of the above post, must have graduate degree in Arts / Commerce / Science or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

Age limit:
Age of the candidates should be between 21 and 40 years as on 01/01/2011. Age of those candidates, who are going to apply for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), should not be more than 27 years and less than 21 years as on 01/01/2011.

Age Relaxations:
Candidates who belong to SC / BC Category, Un-Married Female Candidates, Employee of Haryana Govt. will be relaxed in age upto 5 years.
Physical Standard for DSP Post
• Male – Height – 170.18 cm, Chest – 83.82 cm (87.63 cm with expansion)

Selection procedure and Exam Pattern:
Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be called for Written Test (Combined Competitive Examination) which will be Objective Type and then Main Examination which will be Conventional Type. Candidates, who qualify in both the tests, will be called for Viva-Voce. The Preliminary Test will be organized only for Screening. As per OAS Rule 2008, Question paper of the preliminary Test will be set in English.
Those Candidates will have to apply again with a Separated application form, who clear the Preliminary Test and qualify for Main Exam. Application form can be had from office of HPSC after payment of Rs.100 at Counter.
